The Kinderhook Basketball Association (KBA) is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization that gives local kids a place to learn the game, build confidence and play for their community. From a first dribble in Little Lakers to competitive travel ball with the Kinderhook Lakers, there is a spot for every player.

This winter KBA kicks off with an 8-week intramural league: 3–4 evenly matched teams per age group, one 75-minute session a week that blends practice and games. It's a fairer way to see every player over several weeks, gets kids “game ready” sooner, and helps us build our CYO and new Hudson Valley league teams.

A fun, skills-first introduction to the game for first- and second-grade boys and girls. Dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork — no experience needed.

KBA runs on volunteers — board members, coaches, coordinators, and families who help with admissions and concessions. That commitment keeps registration costs low and keeps the program close to the people it serves.

Sneaker donations: donate gently used sneakers to help keep kids in the game.
